Dear Friends and Brothers!
Thanking our Polish friends for this noble gesture, which can be read about below, delight pass on this information to scope as many people as possible (which they deserve) as further evidence of strengthening our brotherly ties. To this noble initiative I would like to add only 2 comments:
1. I know due to the fact that I myself was a part of it, that during the last presidential elections in Poland many Hungarians prayed for the triumph of president K. Nawrocki. In this advantage of a vote of just over 1%, which crossed the scales in his favour and brought victory, possibly besides found besides the prayers of Hungarians. Thank God for everything !!
2. The date chosen for the current Hungarian elections is not a coincidence. This is simply a conscious decision which, on the 1 hand, shows the religion of Hungarian legislators and their deep respect for St John Paul II. He was the 1 who said that the 21st century ahead of us will be the time of God's mercy, due to the fact that mankind can hope only in God's mercy. In the light of this truth, we must look at the upcoming elections, knowing that they are not only political but besides civil. Thank you that our Polish brothers (and I fear that only them) realize the meaning of all this. Praise be to the Lord of History, who re-creates the spiritual cohesion between us, which for centuries has united the deepest feelings of both nations. On this and only on this we can build our common Central European future.
God bless the Poles! Hungary is not missing yet!
I want our resurrected Savior to give us his blessing and all the graces we will request in the coming hard times.
With respect and brotherhood:
Imre Molnár
Praised be Jesus Christ!
Dear Poles,
On Good Friday we begin Novena to God's Mercy, which we end on Christmas Eve of Divine Mercy. I would like to ask all Poles to offer this novena this year for the Hungarian Nation, which will make an crucial choice for Parliament on 12 April.
Let us environment this nation with our prayer, with the offering of Holy Mass and Holy Communion, with fasting, the adoration of the Lord Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, especially on Sunday, on election day. Let us offer the rosary or join in our rosary prayer the intention of elections to the Hungarian Parliament. We can besides arrange a 24-hour rosary from midnight to midnight on April 12.
Several facts from the past of 1920. In 1920, Hungary was 1 of the fewer countries that gave Poland applicable military assistance during the Polish-bolshevik War. On 8 July 1920, the Hungarian defence Minister, István Sréter, instructed Poland to hand over supplies of Hungarian Army ammunition. Pál Teleki's government provided Poland with millions of firearm cartridges, respective 1000 artillery shells and 30,000 rifles, 440 field kitchens and 80 field bakeries at its own expense. In July 1920, about 400 transports from western countries passed through Hungary, with war materials for Poland. On 12 August 1920, erstwhile the fighting for Warsaw began, the Hungarians sent 22 million bullets to the “Mauser” strategy rifles by rail. Hungary has organised aid by sending transports frequently through Romania, as Czechoslovakia blocked deliveries. respective 100 Hungarian volunteers fought in the ranks of the Polish Army, and any of them (e.g. Lieutenant Miklós Hunyadi) were awarded the Silver Cross of the Order of Virtuti Militari.
Hungarian aid was highly crucial due to the fact that it complemented the deficiencies in supplying the Polish army at a decisive moment. Therefore, as Poles, let us aid the Hungarian people with this prayer in Nowenno, which Jesus dictated for us through St. Faustina as a weapon for hard times. Let us ask the Lord Jesus to be covered on April 12 with a peculiar coat of Divine Mercy, that fact and justice may prevail in the fight against evil, and that Christian values may prevail.
I greet you all.
