European Commission head Ursula von der Leyen announced on Tuesday at a summit on artificial intelligence in Paris the launch of a fresh InvestAI initiative to mobilise €200 billion for investment in AI, including the creation of a fresh EU fund of €20 billion for Gigafabry AI.
