Poland becomes the centre of innovation in unmanned systems
On 15 April, 1 of the most crucial events in Poland devoted to developing unmanned systems - AMW UAV Forum 2026 will be held at the Naval Academy in Gdynia. The event is organised by KPH Group Sp. z o.o., the publisher of the Maritime paper and regular Mare, together with the Naval Academy, the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of the AMW and in cooperation with the Baltic Sea and Space Cluster.
The Forum is held under the honorary patronage of: Vice-President of the Council of Ministers, Minister of National Defence – Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Minister of State Acts – Wojciech Balczun, Minister of Agriculture and agrarian improvement – Stefan Krajewski, Head of the National safety Office – Prof. Sławomir Cenckiewicz, Wojewód Pomorskie – Beata Rutkiewicz, Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship – Mieczysław Struk, president of the City of Gdynia – Aleksandra Kosiorek.
AMW UAV Forum is simply a platform for the exchange of cognition and experience for representatives of armed forces, industry, technological community and public administration. The programme includes 4 thematic panels, during which experts will discuss: modern UAV, UGV and USV technologies, multi-domain integration and applicable conclusions from current armed conflicts.
The main subject will be multi-domain systems, autonomous systems and supported by artificial intelligence, as well as the improvement of the "system-of-systems" concept, enabling the integration of air, land and sea platforms. Unmanned hazard technologies and critical infrastructure protection will be an crucial place.
The Forum will besides address the social and civilian aspects of the "drone revolution". From applications in monitoring the environment and agriculture to regular police and public services.
At the end of the AMW UAV Forum the thought of ARMA Forum will be presented, an initiative aimed at creating a permanent expert platform in Poland, integrating the unmanned environment, industry, discipline and administration. Participants will be invited to co-create post-conference publications, including the strategical study “The Future of Unmanned Systems”.
