"Forgiveness and letting go." Karol Nawrocki signed a law on the war in Ukraine

President Karol Nawrocki signed 5 laws on Friday, 1 of which concerns the non-punishment of Polish citizens fighting on the side of Ukraine in the conflict with Russia. The bill, brought by KO deputies, provided for forgiveness and letting certain crimes and offenses go unpunished. The amnesty is to cover acts committed from April 6, 2014 to the date of entry into force of this legislation.
