“Protest of Forest People”. Foresters, treers and hunters will come to the capital

The Forest Trade Union Protest Staff together with the organisation of the Tree manufacture Protest organizes a protest in Warsaw on 25 April.

Foresters, hunters, farmers and tree-keepers They will meet at 11:00 in the park before Ministry of Climate and Environmentand then march to the building of the Directorate General of State Forests.

– Today, in the face of unthinkable and harmful decisions of the Ministry of Climate and Environment, which fall without talking to those who know the forests best, we want to meet – peacefully, together, with concern to show that we care about forests and that sustainable forest management is not an empty slogan, but a wise and proven way of caring – about nature, people and future generations – explained the organizers.

“The fear for the future of our forests”

They invitation everyone who is not indifferent to the forest to participate in the protest. Not only foresters and workers of Forest Services Departments, but besides scientists, students, private forest owners, entrepreneurs, sawmill workers, wood, paper industry, hunters, employed in national parks or in timber transport.

– If you love forests, you want our children and grandchildren to be able to usage them; you believe that forests are nature, but besides jobs, cultures and communities; you see value in liable management, not empty slogans – Come! It is besides a place for those who are just seeking their opinion. You don't request to know everything or have the answers ready. All you request to do is to talk and be part of the common concern about the future of our forests – they encourage.
