Airspace breach. MFA has spoken
MFA Moldova reported that after this incident, it began talking to allies about the anticipation of strengthening Moldova's air defence.
"These actions are unacceptable and pose a possible threat to national safety and our citizens," said the Moldovan MFA — In this context, Moldova analyses the circumstances of the incidental and conducts an active dialog with global partners to prevent akin situations and strengthen the defence of airspace.’
Russian drones in Moldova
Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The Chisinians recorded respective incidents in which Russian drones flew into Moldova's airspace, and fragments of them landed on its territory.

Pro-European president of Moldova Maia Sandu repeatedly condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine, expressed support for Kiev and accused the Kremlin of trying to destabilise its government.
