For the first time in history, an F-35 fighter shot down another fighter in combat

The Israel defence Forces (IDF, Israeli army) reported the first-ever case of an F-35 fighter jet (in the version utilized by Israel - the F-35I "Adir") shooting down another manned aircraft.
