First Gladiuses delivered to artillery

The WB Group delivered the first components of the unmanned search and impact strategy GLADIUS. They came into the hands of soldiers of the 18th Artillery Regiment of fresh Dęba.

The artillerymen of the Iron Division received unmanned aircraft launchers and unmanned GLADIUS aircraft in the training variant (BSP-UT). This will enable the start of training of package operator teams before further supplies of strategy components.

The WB Group delivered the first components of the unmanned search and impact strategy GLADIUS.

Transmission of the first BSP-UT is an effect contracts for the supply of unmanned search and impact systems (BSPU) GLADIUS, concluded in May 2022 between the Treasury, represented by the Armed Forces Agency and WB Electronics SA (the leading company of the WB Group).

The subject of the agreement is the transportation of 4 battery modules of unmanned search and impact systems GLADIUS with training and logistics package.

The training package includes, in addition to training for staff, the transportation of unmanned training aircraft and simulations of the GLADIUS unmanned search and impact system. The logistics package includes service kits and service services.

The transportation of further components of the GLADIUS battery modules is to be performed in the second half of 2023.

The battery modules of unmanned search and impact systems GLADIUS will be designed for precise demolition of the targets at 100 km capacity and for conducting image designation from air utilizing reconnaissance unmanned aircraft FT-5.

The function of strategy effectors will be performed by the impacted unmanned aircraft (BSP-U) GLADIUS, integrated with the utilized in the Armed Forces of Poland Integrated combat management strategy TOPAZ. The battery module will include launchers, command wagons, ammunition trucks, maintenance wagons and a supply of BSP-U GLADIUS.
