First FDI frigate launched

On 7 November, the first FDI-type frigate, the future Amiral Ronarc'h, was launched at the Naval Group shipyard in Lorient. The ship is being built for the French Marine Nationale. Construction of the first of the 5 FDI defence and intervention frigates (Frégates de Défense et d'Intervention) began with the cutting of 24 metallic sheets.
