First Arleigh Burke Flight III-class destroyer delivered to the U.S. Navy

Huntington Ingalls Industries has donated the destroyer USS Jack H. Lucas, the first Arleigh Burke-class ship in the latest Flight III variant, to the U.S. Navy. Construction of the USS Jack H. Lucas began with sheet metallic burning on May 7, 2018 at the Huntington Ingalls Industries shipyard in Pascagouli, Mississippi.
