The modern battlefield is saturated with various command support and fire management systems and sensors providing very accurate reconnaissance data. Thus, even the lowest levels can rapidly get information about their opponent. Also, take advantage of the support of fire forces and measures that remained at the advanced level of command a fewer years ago.
We present to you the latest issue of the Armed Forces Review, the subject of which is fire support. Specialists in this area bring together issues related to action planning, tactics for the usage of various types of weapons systems and challenges related to targeting. peculiar attention is paid to the article on the function and importance of fire support by Colonel Paweł Jędryczko, Commandant of the Rocket and Artillery Training Centre in Toruń.
In this issue of PES, we have devoted much space to activities at sea, including submarines. Sławomir J. Julyka, the editor of the Naval magazine "Bandera" shared their cognition on the subject, and Tomasz Ludek, a writer specializing in the fresh military technique. The first author analysed the state of the Baltic fleet, the second presented this issue for the countries of the full globe. due to the material volume, we divided both articles into 2 parts. Part 2 of each will be published in the next issue of the quarterly.
From another articles, which were included in the 3rd edition of this year's PSZ, I would peculiarly urge to you the following texts by: Gen. Dyw. w st. spocz. pil. dr. hab. inż.
