Fighting for strategical region. Russia says it can regain control "very quickly"

The Russians say they are on track to regaining control of the western Kursk region and are pushing out the Ukrainians who entered there almost a year ago. The Russian defence Ministry has released a recording of what it claims is the recapture of the Guyevo settlement in that region. Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has previously reported that Ukrainian troops are continuing combat operations in Russia's Kursk and Belgorod regions.
