During the presidential debate between Karol Nawrocki and Simon Holovnia there was a heated exchange of views. The direct reason for the tension was a fresh visit by the president of the IPN to the United States.
"You haven't become Trump's partner for 7 hours in the White House"
In the 3rd part of the tv debate, candidates could ask each another questions. Simon Holovnia decided to ask Charles Nawrocki about his meetings in Washington, including a conversation with erstwhile U.S. president Donald Trump.
– Since spending 7 hours in the White House, a man has not become Donald Trump's partner. What did you truly do with him? – the leader of Poland 2050 dropped.
Nawrocki replied harshly:
– I think to myself, Mr. Marshal, that since being 1.5 years a marshal besides does not become a marshal, but 1 can become a clown of Polish politics.
Hołównia signed with words that the president of IPN “They let their nerves go”.
“You could bring something for Poland”
Nawrocki continued, emphasizing the importance of his talks in the US:
– My gathering with president Trump was already after meetings with talker Johnson, but besides with another internal, global policy advisers whose names you may have known, due to the fact that I realize that we have never met.
The rover never let go, asked what Nawrocks were doing. ‘settled’ for Poland. A candidate associated with PiS explained that his visit “It was not to get support in the elections, but so that I could rapidly enter into the duties of the president and see the atmosphere in the White home of Polish-American relations.”
The Marshal of the Sejm was not convinced:
– I feel like you didn't get anything for Poland. You got yourself a run selfie, and that was all the gain from that large brawl. You could bring something for Poland.

The debate showed clear differences in the way both candidates conduct politics. While the Holovnia focused on specifics, Nawrocki responded with a sharp individual attack. Will this exchange affect the polls? Time will tell.
