The Festival for Life and household will be held in Wrocław on May 24-25. The festival is an area to advance household values and pro-life, as well as the integration of environments and people active in the defence of life and family. The initiators of the event are many organizations and communities of the Archdiocese of Wrocław. The Center for Life and household is co-organizer of the Festival.
On May 24-25, Wrocławskie Ostrów Tumski will be the site of a unique event – Festival for Life and Family. Fr Józef Kupny took the patronage over the event. The festival will consist of 3 main parts: household Festival, Good region and spiritual Events. Among the points of the program will be interesting lectures, workshops, screening of the movie "Unplanned" or performance of sacral music in Wroclaw Cathedral.
During the event, you will besides be able to learn closely about the activities of life support organisations and families. The program besides provides for a Holy Mass with the renewal of matrimony vows or the anticipation of adopting the conceived kid spiritually. On the second day of the Festival there will be a household Festival with many attractions for its youngest participants. Among them, there is simply a field game, dandelions, games and competitions, animations and barbecue.
The festival is an chance to advance household values and pro-life in society, as well as to integrate local communities working to support families.
– We want to advance respect for human life from conception to natural death, the function of the household as the primary social cell, supporting parents in their regular challenges and caring for the future of children," says Halszka Bielecka from the Centre of Life and Family. “We want to build a affirmative image of the household and values based on teaching the Catholic Church, which is the foundation of a healthy and liable society,” he adds.
The festival is the fruit of the cooperation of many organizations and communities of the Archdiocese of Wrocław, operating on the alleged Life Trail. Among the initiators are Evangelium Vitae, Caritas Archdiocese of Wrocław, Diocese of Families and Center of Life and Family. The event was besides attended by people and communities active in erstwhile editions of the March for Life, including representatives of the Wrocław Group for Life and the Light-Life Movement.
