Fr Jerzy Popieluszko will be commemorated. The Sejm adopted a resolution

The Sejm adopted on Friday a resolution commemorating Fr Jerzy Popieluszko in connection with his 40th anniversary of his death, which falls on 19 October. "He is 1 of the contemporary heroes of our freedom; he has become a symbol of the defence of freedom of conscience, human dignity and civilian rights" - we read in a statement.
