The facts contradict the PiS propaganda in the NAWR case

The case is scandalous, that the game is located on the way of the planned high-speed railway to the Central Communication Port – a flagship investment from the time of the PiS rule, and sales for a bargain price (PLN 22.760 million) were made despite the firm's firm's strong opposition to the construction of the CPK. The key investment game was sold 2 weeks after Robert Telus visited Dawton, who prepared run gadgets in the form of tubes with fruit muskets for politicians and PiS logos during the 2023 election campaign. According to the media, the value of the game in connection with the planned investment is expected to increase even respective times, to the amount of about PLN 400 million.

After the outbreak of the PiS scandal, he suspended in the rights of a organization member, among others, Robert Telus, but he avoids a clear confession and tries to underestimate the consequences of the sale crucial to the investment of the CPK plot. First of all, the politicians of the Jarosław Kaczyński organization tried to transfer work to Donald Tusk's government, claiming that the sales agreement contained records giving the chance to redeem the game at the sale price, so it is impossible to talk about the failure of the State Treasury, due to the fact that the state could easy recover the site at any time. That's not true!

According to the authoritative message of the KOWR, published on the government portal gov.pl, it is clear that although the contract contained the right to repurchase, the anticipation of exercising this right was importantly limited. The KOWR could not decide to redeem the game freely, as under the agreement this would be possible only after 1 of the detailed conditions which were independent of the KOWR were fulfilled. These included, inter alia, the authoritative change in the usage of land for purposes another than agricultural purposes, the disclosure in the premises of previously unknown natural resources and the possible further sale of the property to a 3rd party.

There was so no legal anticipation to exercise the right to repurchase.

However, the case now seems to be moving towards a successful conclusion. According to fresh reports, Dawton's Vice president agreed to return the property at the price indicated in the first sales agreement.

It would so seem that the state, at least financially, is not losing anything in all the confusion. That's not actual either!

In fact, since the sale of the plot, i.e. since 1 December 2023, KOWR has lost the right to collect the rent, which in 2022 was about PLN 580,000 per year. So it can be estimated that the losses of the State Treasury will exceed PLN 1 million for 2 years!

Above all, however, contrary to the claims of PiS politicians, this is not due to the good safety of the KOWR's interests in the contract, but only to the goodwill of Vice president Dawtona, who first did not gotta accept the return of the property and second for the acquisition price!
