Facebook removes a page that according to the Department of Justice utilized to harass ICE agents

The U.S. Justice Department reported on Tuesday that Meta fulfilled his request to remove the site on its Facebook platform, which according to the agency was utilized to harass ICE agents in Chicago. In a post on X, lawyer General Pam Bondi stated that the site is part of activities aimed at "disclosure and tracing" around 200 immigration and customs officers who arrived in the city as part of president Donald Trump's efforts to enforce immigration laws. Meta's press secretary confirmed that the company had removed the Facebook page for "infringing our policies on coordinated damage". Neither Meta nor the Department of Justice provided any more information on the site, and Reuters had no way of checking them.

At the beginning of this month, Apple removed applications allowing users to track movements of ICE agents under Trump's administration. Google besides blocked akin applications. The administration threatened to press charges against the creators of tracking applications.
