Eye in the Eye with posters by Wojciech Korkucia. beginning on 7 November, 7:00 p.m.
date: November 04, 2025 Editor: Anna
Wojciech Korkuć is simply a Polish graphic designer and posterist, whose work has been stimulating emotions for years and does not let to pass indifferently.
The poster is simply a average in which Wojciech Korkuć expresses himself most fully. The colours, forms and spelling in his posters are intertwined into a close full to give the essence of the issue in a short moment.
This should be a good poster: it attracts eyes and reflects them saturated with strong content, which is to tremble in the viewer's head as long as possible, like a hit string. In a poster form, it rapidly emerges and freezes at the same time a full stock of thoughts and emotions, the origin of which is the sensitivity of the artist reacting to the world. This artist does not close in narrow thematic areas – his works concern social, political, historical, theatre performances, music festivals and many another matters.

The message that Wojciech Korkuć is creating a poster on a given subject will not be adequate – although he has professionally designed posters since his graduation from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, continuing the legacy of the large creators of the Polish poster school.
The poster is more to him – it is his language, which tells him about modern reality, and sometimes brings back the reality of the past. Each poster exhibition is so a multifaceted conversation with the viewer through artistic forms, a conversation that is fascinating, emotional, raised, sometimes touching basic and sometimes fleeting things, can be disturbing, or even irritating, but never small, and never leaves the viewer indifferent.
