Radosław Sikorski is scheduled to present the Polish abroad policy tasks in 2026 in the Sejm at 9:00 a.m. The announcements of the MFA and the KPRM show a list of 5 priorities to order the government's action in global matters.


The abroad Minister's Exposé is an yearly information presented in the Sejm, which describes the tasks and directions of abroad policy for a given year. In the event of a speech for 2026, the MFA indicates that it is based on "the assumptions of the Polish abroad and European policy for 2026" adopted by the Council of Ministers on 27 January exactly. The government reported that the paper was classified and its main pillars were publically presented in the form of priorities.

The speech usually opens a parliamentary club parliament debate and then the minister answers questions and allegations. The Ministry of abroad Affairs announces that exposé is part of the yearly cycle of abroad policy planning, and that priorities are to prioritise state activities in areas ranging from safety to economical diplomacy.

The first precedence is "Poland safe". This is an emphasis on defence issues, state resilience, alliance cooperation and safety in the region. The second is "Poland's influence in a strong EU", i.e. action to advance Poland's position in the European Union and influence on decisions taken in Brussels.

The 3rd precedence was called "Foreign Policy in the Service of Poland's economical Development". This point concerns, among others, economical diplomacy, export support, attracting investment and technological cooperation.

The 4th precedence is "Poland active globally and solidarity". These are activities outside the region, improvement and aid policies, activities in global organisations and building relations in different parts of the world. The 5th precedence concerns organization facilities.

The information published by government institutions shows that a set of priorities has been prepared for the current geopolitical challenges. Public announcements peculiarly item the security, European and transatlantic relations and the function of diplomacy in economical development.
