Despite the announcements of the Ministry of Interior and Administration regarding the construction of a modern informing strategy and the launch of a fresh mobile application, specialists warn: technology alone is not adequate to effectively defend citizens. After the incidental with the Russian rocket in the Lublin region, the discussion about the efficiency of the national notification strategy is returning. Experts from the Fire Brigade Academy and the WSB Academy indicate that the biggest challenges presently stay not only digital delays, but above all the deficiency of public trust in messages, low awareness of threats among adults and staff shortages in crisis management divisions at the local government level.
