One of the long-term effects of the war in Ukraine is the problem with the operation of post-Soviet helicopters. Poland has the largest fleet of Mi-8/17, Mi-14 and Mi-24 in our region, but in full there are over 240 of them in the armed forces of NATO and EU countries. However, obtaining parts from Russia is impossible present for apparent reasons, and their Ukrainian replacements may be unavailable for a long time. So there is simply a problem for the operational capabilities of the armed forces of more than a twelve countries in Europe alone. In the world, this is simply a much bigger challenge.
