European steel duties are strong up. This is an EU consequence to Chinese subsidies

On Tuesday, the European Commission proposed to rise steel duties from 25 to 50 percent from mid next year. The fresh rate will apply erstwhile imports of natural material exceed 18,3 million tonnes per year. This is simply a reaction to overproduction of steel caused by, among others, Chinese subsidies.
