Security, resisting hybrid action and strengthening cooperation between the European Union and NATO have been the main themes of the European Political Community (EEA). Prime Ministers of Poland and large Britain discussed with another leaders the joint efforts for peace and security. The Heads of State and European Institutions stressed that only joint action would strengthen safety on the east flank of NATO.

– We met in the format of the European Political Community to discuss security. We had an in-depth discussion on the panel, which I co-operated with Rishi Sunak the Prime Minister of large Britain. With many prime ministers, the presidents we talked about safety architecture throughout Europe – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
EU-NATO cooperation
Leaders who took part in the EHR stressed the importance of European Union cooperation with the North Atlantic Alliance. Joint action will strengthen safety on the east flank of NATO.
“Cooperation between NATO and the European Union will be a good, additional boost to the level of safety in the east part of the European Union, on the east flank of NATO”, emphasised the Prime Minister.
Against Hybrid Risks
Hybrid threats and atomic safety are topicsthe Heads of State discussed at the summit. They besides talked about building democratic resilience.
"We discussed cybersecurity, hybrid threats, various types of hybrid threats. Including specified provocations, which we besides face in Poland, but as I learned here, practically everyone is facing – said the head of the Polish government.
One hybrid action is to make artificial migration. Poland dealt with this problem very well and rapidly – thanks, among others, to the setting of a barrier on the border with Belarus.
– The Prime Ministers assessed very highly and spoke very loudly about how we handled this artificially induced wave of migration by Belarus, by bringing migrants from the mediate East," said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
2nd European Political Community Summit
The first EWP summit was held on 6 October 2022 in the Czech Republic. The summit was attended by 44 national leaders. The EHR summits are held alternately in the associate States of the European Union and in the partner countries.
Nearly 50 Heads of State and Government, as well as the Presidents of the EU institutions, attended this year's summit in Moldova. The summit was besides an chance to hold many talks and to build a common position on the most crucial topics that concern the current geopolitical situation in the region.
