"European tank" erstwhile again. This time without France

In 2015, Germany and France founded the KNDS holding company, consisting of KNDS France (formerly Nexter) and KNDS Deutschland (formerly Krauss-Maffei Wegmann). Their task was to implement the MGCS task or Main Ground Combat System. It was designed as a fresh generation primary tank and support vehicles based on its construction.
