Could Europe have done without American military engagement on the Old Continent? So far no 1 has moved it, but Europeans are besides preparing for this scenario. For this reason, the EU is preparing an urgent study on defence without US participation; the work on a paper that addresses the creation of a European army in the event of an unclear engagement of the US within NATO is directed by erstwhile Finnish president Sauli Niinisto. The case is written on Thursday by the Finnish press.
