European future tank programs - do they make sense? [ OPINION]

Now in Europe, we are faced with an absurd situation in which 3 programmes with the same nonsubjective are moving in parallel – the improvement of a fresh generation tank. Does that even make sense? However, should it be considered to be a manifestation of the excessive ambition of politicians, and programmes themselves carry the burden of typical overgrown European bureaucracy and are a sign of waste of time, strength and resources?
