The commander of the US and NATO forces in Europe, General Alexus Grynkewich said that European allies would not be able to take the lead in the conventional defence of Europe before 2035. He besides assessed that Russia would proceed to pose a threat to NATO after the end of the war in Ukraine. The commander confirmed that the Russian war economy is operating at its highest turnover.
