The European electromagnetic cannon is already firing. A Breakthrough in Future Weapons Research

A breakthrough in European investigation on electromagnetic weapons (railgun), which does not usage any explosive charge to throw missiles. The French-German investigation Institute Saint-Louis (ISL) first conducted a trial shooting with specified a weapon at its camp in Baldersheim, east France. It was designed and built by the ISL. In the future, it is intended, among another things, to combat hypersonic missiles.
