In their study "International safety and Estonia 2026", the authors uncertainty that Moscow will decide in the next 2 years to engage in aggression against any of the states [NATO](https://defence24.pl/defence-policy/Russia-attack-nato-jesli-tak-to-near). This is due to the mobilisation of Europe as regards the reinforcement and increased readiness of the armed forces of the European part of the North Atlantic Alliance. However, this process, sometimes mocked, is simply a fact and, according to the Estonians, has already led to this peculiar effect. Interestingly, the Estonian opinion does not precisely fit into NATO's communicative that if the Russian aggression on NATO (the Baltic States) were to take place, it would be in the short term. So it is possible that if the current actions have dismissed the threats for 2 years, then their consistent continuation can completely distance them. At least, erstwhile it comes to the foreseeable future.
