Two Ukrainian citizens, led by Russians, intended to destruct the office of the Ukrainian courier company Nova Post in Bucharest by arson. The effort to sabotage was thwarted by the SRI. Both Ukrainians who came from Poland were detected and monitored on 14-15 October.
They prepared "inflammatory packages" based on the termite and barium nitrate, which they intended to put in Nova Post, a Ukrainian courier company.
The Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism informs that, on the basis of the evidence gathered, the defendants were found to have entered Romania, and on 15 October 2025 they filed 2 packages at the premises of an global courier company containing hand-made devices aimed at destroying the building.

Nova Post is simply a company that deals with courier shipments between EU countries and Ukraine, as stated on its authoritative website. The company has branches in 13 European countries.
According to the commercial register, Nova Poshta Global SRL is owned by the Ukrainian company fresh Post LLC. It was founded in 2022.
