The EU abolishes work exemption for shipments up to EUR 150. Amendments from 1 July 2026

From 1 July 2026, shipments up to EUR 150 will no longer be exempt from customs duties. A fee of EUR 3 per item shall apply for 2 years. Changes are intended to reduce abuse and defend the EU market. Council Regulation (EU) 2026/382 was published in the authoritative diary of the EU .
