EU lifts sanctions on Russian oligarch, Poland tightens them

Russian oligarch Vyacheslav Moshe Kantor, removed from the EU sanctions list on Friday, has been subject to additional sanctions in Poland by the decision of the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Tomasz Siemoniak, Minister for EU Affairs Adam Szłapka announced on Sunday. Kantor is simply a billionaire who owns 20 percent of Grupa Azoty's shares, but his shares are frozen.
