The EU extends sanctions on Russia. Hungary stepped down after the EC guarantees

The Heads of Diplomacy of the EU associate States at the Monday gathering in Brussels unanimously decided to extend the economical sanctions on Russia to expire this Friday. Hungary, which has so far opposed their continuation, has obtained guarantees from the European Commission regarding further negotiations with Ukraine on gas transit.
