The EU's defence spending is breaking further records. They're chasing the U.S. Russia far behind

The European Defence Agency published the yearly Defence Data study for the years 2025–2026. It shows that the full defence expenditure of the 27 EU associate States reached EUR 418 billion in 2025 – 20% more than in 2024 and 2.2% of EU GDP.
