The information provided by Defence manufacture Europe shows that the Estonian Government intends to allocate about €5.3 billion to the acquisition of defence equipment in the period from 2025 to 28, including the acquisition of a fresh circular tractor artillery strategy to form an additional artillery battalion. Of this sum, EUR 1.5 billion is to be spent on ammunition. Estonia's defence minister Hanno Pevkur was to point out that 1 of the priorities was to get equipment for indirect fire. To this end, an additional artillery battalion is planned to be created, but unlike the erstwhile 36 South Korean K9EST Kõu ([24 pieces have now been picked up](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/rail-Korean-Haubice-k9-for-estonia)) will be placed on the wheel chassis.
