Sometimes we hear the rectors say that The essence of the university is discussion, debate, but more and more frequently we read about the exclusion from discussion, the cancellation of dormitory lectures on uncomfortable views that think differently. They are said to be a threat to the comfort of others – academically correct. The essence of the university seems to be fading. The university ceases to be a space of free thought and exchange arguments. This was the case in communist times due to bans/orders of the oppressive state of insulting citizens, including academics. Today, specified supervision / supervision of the state is no longer needed. For years alone, the formalized academic community is kept in check, acting allegedly in the name of the community. If we do not accept the voice of those who think otherwise, we limit our chances of knowing the truth, but I think that is the point.
It is no longer essential for full-time dormitories, with only posts, titles, and the fact can only hinder them. At the end of the Polish People's Republic, young people were able to protest the erasure of uncomfortable, non-conformist dormitories by the “professory” system. They warned – as it turns out – that specified methods would not bring Polish discipline to the 21st century. The 21st century has arrived and the dignity of universities has almost been abandoned. “Professory” depraved her successors with her actions so that Young people no longer rebel against taking the level of others, and she herself does not let them to preach an uncomfortable view. Recently, specified a case took place at the Jagiellonian University, where a lecture by a renowned scientist Dr. Tomasz Witkowski was cancelled "in the interests of the comfort and safety of transgender people". Ideologically, they didn't respond. Student "thought police" did not allow, effectively replacing organization police. I asked AI how she felt. Among another things, she replied: “The University without dispute, without risk, without intellectual provocation is only an elegant school of ideological conformism”. Natural intelligence doesn't think like that anymore. Perfect.
