The band “The Burning Christ” at the Owsiak Festival. Fr. Chły reacts and becomes the mark of the media

About “Jurk” well, or not at all. It turns out that one more time this somewhat humorous phrase rather reflects the present reality. It was adequate for a priest in social media to critically address the invitation to the Pol’and’Rock Festival promoting the Satanism of the band, so that the media choir of WOŚP defenders and its “conductor” would speak.

“Rotting Christ” – virtually “The Burning Christ” – is the name of the band to appear on (probably smiling from ear to ear) “Pol’and’Rock Festival 2024”. This – callback – is simply a music festival organized by the large Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation. The same, which winter period plays its “great final”, and its volunteers collect donations under many churches, giving out red WOŚP hearts.

According to Mateusz Magdziar, “Rotting Christ” in the authoritative communication, he was presented as “controversial”. What is this controversy about? For example, 4 years ago, musicians were arrested and considered... propagating Satanism and terrorism.

Fr Janusz Chła decided to comment on the social media: "The contributor to the promotion of Satanism is those who support Jerzy Owsiak and his actions," he wrote. And the storm broke out.

Media defenders of Jerzy Owsiak stood at attention and began to multiply publications – of course “turning the tail.” It turned out to be controversial, but the conservative Rev. Chła, especially due to the fact that he, as a priest, speaks not only of spiritual matters but besides political matters. And – about horror – he has rather a large number of followers and “does not bite his tongue.” On top of that, he is simply a typical of the “hot antifans” of the WOŚP. He besides utilized the Owsiak festival to “remember”. And he “attacked” not only the organizer, but besides the participants of the event, due to the fact that “he did not like” 1 of the invited teams...

This is simply a short version of the "truth" screens. No 1 has noticed that the name “Dying Christ” is offensive and painful to Catholics. most likely due to the fact that art can do more and you can't gag it. And in the defence of this artistic freedom (no and "Jurasa" – of course – you gotta stand "manly").

"I counted 10 portals that comment on my 1 sentence. Interestingly, texts have many authors, but they do not disagree much. Interesting things I learn about myself," commented Fr Janusz Chła.

The priest rightly pointed out that we are dealing with a large hypocrisy of those who want to close Catholic religion in 4 walls of houses or temples, and are indulgent to all gestures offensive to Christianity. At the same time, atheism and profanation are, for them, legitimate and public promoted attitudes.

"They say that religion in Christ is simply a private substance and should not be demonstrated publicly. But atheism and profanity are no longer private. They are promoted in media, theatre, exhibitions and festivals," wrote the priest.
