End of barcode? The QR code revolution is coming

Barcodes are going into well-deserved retirement. They will be replaced by next-generation QR codes, created by the GS1 organization, the same organization that was liable for the erstwhile system. This is simply a real revolution: the way we store and how we perceive information about the products we buy will change.
