DUBAI- UAE-based Emirates Airline (EK) has unveiled a distinctive Real Madrid themed livery on its Boeing 777 aircraft, marking a significant milestone in their longstanding partnership.

The aircraft made its inaugural landing in Madrid (MAD) yesterday (January 7, 2025), transporting the club’s first team to Jeddah (JED) for the Spanish Super Cup tournament.

Emirates Real Madrid Livery

The partnership between Emirates and Real Madrid, which began in 2011, has evolved into the longest jersey sponsorship in La Liga history, extending until 2026.

The aircraft’s exterior showcases prominent Real Madrid players, including Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Luka Modric, Jude Bellingham, Lucas Vazquez, and Federico Valverde.

Emirates’ dedication to fan engagement has manifested through exclusive experiences and interactions with legendary players throughout their decade-long collaboration.

The specially designed Boeing 777 will serve multiple international routes, including Athens, Vienna, Miami, Seattle, and Kuwait, bringing the Real Madrid brand to global audiences.

The airline established its presence in Madrid in 2010 and maintains a robust double daily service schedule, utilizing both A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft. Emirates has demonstrated its commitment to service excellence through an extensive retrofit program, successfully upgrading 36 aircraft with enhanced interiors and Premium Economy cabins.

The recent addition of the A350 to Emirates’ fleet has expanded its service capabilities, currently operating flights to Edinburgh, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

Livery on A380

Emirates demonstrated its partnership with Real Madrid by transporting the team on a customized A380 aircraft from Madrid to Riyadh in January 2023. The airline incorporated distinctive branding features on the world’s largest passenger aircraft for this special charter flight.

The aircraft’s exterior showcased an extensive 125-square-meter decal on each side, featuring prominent Real Madrid players Nacho Fernández, Dani Carvajal, Thibaut Courtois, Karim Benzema, Luka Modrić, Tony Kroos, and Vini Jr. The team traveled to Saudi Arabia to compete in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Valencia on January 11, 2023.

Emirates committed to maintaining the special livery for five months, integrating it into regular service routes including London Heathrow, New York, and Melbourne. The aircraft’s global deployment across nearly 40 A380 destinations created opportunities for Real Madrid supporters worldwide to capture images of this unique design.
