Enhanced Cargo Capabilities for Hangzhou
The new service brings up to 16 tonnes of bellyhold cargo capacity per flight, supporting efficient transport of e-commerce products, pharmaceuticals, smart devices, and time-sensitive goods.
Hangzhou, a central hub for cross-border digital commerce, benefits from Emirates SkyCargo’s global network and streamlined access to markets across South Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East.
This connectivity strengthens China’s logistics ecosystem, particularly in the Yangtze River Delta, reducing transit times and enhancing delivery efficiency for Chinese exporters.

Luxury Experience and Localized Services
To elevate customer experience, Emirates has introduced its complimentary chauffeur-drive service in Hangzhou for First and Business Class travelers.
Passengers can enjoy private Mercedes-Benz E-Class transfers within an 80-kilometre radius of HGH Airport. This amenity is now available in over 70 cities globally, including Beijing, Shanghai, London, Paris, and Milan.
Onboard, passengers can enjoy Emirates’ award-winning ice entertainment system with over 6,500 channels, including content in Mandarin. Regionally inspired cuisine featuring Chinese dishes and desserts is also part of the in-flight experience, tailored to meet customer preferences.

Strengthening Bilateral and Cultural Ties
The new route supports Emirates’ commitment to China’s aviation and tourism development. The airline’s partnership with the UAE China Cultural Centre aims to promote China as a prime travel destination across Emirates’ network.
Moreover, the visa-free entry policy for UAE and GCC nationals for up to 30 days adds to the route’s appeal for business and leisure travelers alike, further facilitating exchange and cooperation between China and the Middle East.
