In Amsterdam, you’ll complete the simulator assessment and Advanced COMPASS test. Successful candidates will be invited to Dubai to explore the city, tour EK-provided accommodations, and complete logbook reviews and medical checks.

According to the official website, Emirates will carry out simulator assessments on Jan 20 and 21 and on Feb 13 and 14.
Types of Job Roles

Requirements
Emirates Airlines establishes comprehensive qualification requirements for A350 and A380 Captain positions. The airline mandates 7,000 hours of multi-crew, multi-engine flying experience in turboprop or turbojet aircraft operational seats.
A380 command positions require current Airbus captain status with 3,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience on Airbus fly-by-wire wide-body aircraft. A350 command roles demand 3,000 hours of captain experience on commercial jets exceeding 50 tonnes maximum takeoff weight, plus 1,500 hours on current Airbus fly-by-wire wide-body types.
Candidates must possess a valid ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License with unrestricted Class 1 medical certification from a single authority. Recent flight experience requirements specify 150 hours minimum within the preceding 12 months on type. English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher certification remains mandatory.
Emirates structures pilot schedules through open-ended contracts featuring monthly rosters with eight guaranteed days off. Annual flight hours range between 800-900, incorporating round-the-clock operations across varied route structures.
Flight assignments combine short-haul turnarounds with long-haul and ultra-long-haul sectors. Trip durations extend from single days to nine-day assignments, incorporating layovers between 24-48 hours at international destinations.
Captains Pay and Benefits
The airline offers an AED 40,100 base salary with additional flight pay of AED 47,367 for 85 monthly hours, plus AED 760 per block hour beyond targets.
The carrier provides furnished accommodation including utility coverage in Dubai. Educational support extends to AED 52,250 for primary and AED 79,750 for secondary education per child annually, covering up to three children aged 4-19 years.
Annual leave benefits include 42 calendar days with confirmed business class tickets, upgradeable to first class for commanders and dependents. The airline facilitates airport transfers and offers platinum card privileges for retail and leisure activities.
Emirates’ financial benefits encompass profit-sharing opportunities, life insurance, medical coverage, dental care, and loss of license protection. Professional support includes company uniforms with Dubai-based cleaning services and staff travel concessions across all service classes.
The airline’s provident fund features 12% employer contributions against 5% employee contributions, managed through the Isle of Man trust. Fund participants receive accumulated benefits upon departure after six months of enrollment.
