Elon Musk reported that he was resigning from his position as advisor to the president of the United States and head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The decision to end formal cooperation with Donald Trump Musk announced on platform X. In summing up his work as a White home associate, he mentioned the anticipation of budget cuts: "By finishing my planned time as a peculiar government employee, I would like to thank president Donald Trump for his ability to work towards reducing unnecessary expenditure", says the billionaire's message quoted by PAP.

Musk besides expressed hope that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) would proceed his policy on reducing expenditure: “DoGE mission will only be strengthened, becoming a fundamental component of the functioning of the full government”.
