A key challenge for the European defence sector is the focus on the improvement of its own production capacity over the full supply chain. We are talking about the carbon-to-missile model – from natural materials to the production of base elements specified as gunpowder to artillery cartridges or printed circuitry (PCB) to all kinds of electronic devices, to the final assembly of tanks, aircraft or rocket systems. Any link to this chain located outside the sphere of influence of European NATO members is simply a possible critical point that can be broken at the time of the attempt.
