Electoral silence in practice – what is allowed and what is not allowed

Election silence is simply a time when, according to Polish law, any actions that could influence voters' decisions are prohibited. It is intended to supply citizens with a peaceful chance to reflect before casting their vote. Although the thought of election silence seems simple, in practice it can be a origin of much confusion. So what can and cannot be done during it? What are the penalties for breaking the law?
