Elections in the GDR

I am amazed by the admiration for the effectiveness of isolating the AfD and keeping the "brown plague" out of power. The alternate for Germany either won or came second with a minimal failure to the winner in the September state elections in east Germany. But in Saxony, Thuringia and Brandenburg he will not co-govern.
