The fresh president of Poland was elected Karol Nawrocki. In the Sunday vote, the candidate supported by the PiS obtained 50.89 percent of the vote. Turnout was 71.63 percent. On Friday, the Chinese leader Xi Jinping issued a message on the election of Poles.


According to authoritative data of the State Election Commission, the second circular of the presidential elections in Poland was won by Karol Nawrocki, supported by the Law and Justice, gaining 50.89 percent of the vote; 49.11 percent of the voters voted for candidate KO-Rafal Trzaskowski. Turnout was 71.63 percent.

China's leader Xi Jinping stressed in a congratulatory message to the President-elect Karol Nawrocki the historical and strategical partnership of China and Poland, published on Friday. Expressed readiness to step up cooperation "for common benefit" and "ensure greater stability" in the world.

Xi noted that "for 76 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, both countries respected (the principles - PAP) common respect and equal treatment and achieved fruitful results in mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas".

The PRC leader stressed that "in the face of the chaotic situation on the global stage, China and Poland, as friendly partnerships, should further deepen common political trust and strengthen strategical communication".

Xi yet declared: "I attach large importance to the improvement of Chinese-Polish relations and I am willing to work with president Elekt Nawrock to advance the sustainable and unchangeable improvement of a comprehensive Chinese-Polish strategical partnership for the benefit of the nations of both countries and to guarantee greater stableness and certainty in the world."
