Economist sharp about Mentzen's postulate. "It's impossible to sign"

Sławomir Mentzen showed 8 demands that Trzaskowski and/or Nawrocki must meet in order to gain his favor. A well-known economist has shown that the first 1 is impossible to implement. It's about taxation increases.


As we wrote on Temat.pl, Sławomir Mentzen invited Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki to his YouTube channel. The Confederate Leader wants them to sign a declaration covering 8 demands. You'll find more about them here.

Both presidential candidates accepted the invitation. Nawrocki is scheduled to meet Mentzen present (Thursday 22 May) at 1:00 p.m. In turn, the candidate of the Civic Coalition will appear on the youtube channel of the Confederate MP 2 days later – on Saturday 24 May at 7:00 p.m.

Economist Marek Zuber looked into 1 of the postulates. The first, which reads as follows: "I will not sign any bill that raises existing taxes, contributions, fees or introduces fresh fiscal burdens to Poles".

Let us add that Rafał Trzaskowski has already announced that 1 of Mentzen's demands is impossible for him.

– Sławomir Mentzen invited me, so I am going to just talk calmly," said Rafał Trzaskowski in an interview with Grzegorz Kajdanowicz. At the same time, he pointed out that he would not sign anything in the dark.

– I want to talk about these demands and, I believe, besides about another issues, he added. The candidate KO for president pointed out with which request from Mentzen's list does not agree. "For me, this request that Ukraine should never become a part of NATO is something I will not sign," he said.

Trzaskowski added that he was amazed by the declaration by Karol Nawrocki that he wanted to sign it. As the president of Warsaw said, his counter-candidate "contrary to politics even if president Kaczyński, contradicts the politics of president Duda, destroys the continuity of Polish abroad policy".
