Egypt picks up the second frigate MEKO. 3 ships in 4 years

German shipbuilding holding Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems handed over the second frigate MEKO A-200 EN “Al-Qahhar” to the Egyptian Navy. Under the deal worth about $2.7 billion, Egypt is to receive 4 specified ships, 3 of which are being built in Germany and the 4th is to be built in Egypt.
