EFNI Spring in Warsaw: about the Polish Presidency and the Future of the Labour Market

Special guests of EFNI Spring will be: Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Head of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, Barbara Nowacka, Minister of National Education and Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka, Undersecretary of State at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Council of Ministers, European Union Affairs. Representatives of business, discipline and culture will besides participate in the debates.

The challenges faced by the modern labour marketplace – for example in the context of technological development, demography or migration – are crucial for both the European Union and individual associate States. The discussion on the present and future of work is part of the priorities of the Polish Presidency of the EU Council.

During EFNI Spring, philosophical themes will besides be raised. Jerzy Hausner, Tomasz Markiewka, Karolina Wigura and Ewa Woydyłło-Osiatyńska will take part in the panel dedicated to the sense of work in the modern planet and will be led by Magdalena Wednesday. Various perspectives on the Polish and European labour marketplace and on the achievements and future of social dialog will appear in the debate of erstwhile labour ministers: Michał Boni, Jerzy Hausner and Elżbieta Rafalska, who will be moderated by Henryk Bochniarz, president of the Main Council of the Confederation of Leviathan.

EFNI Spring is an event on the calendar of European discussions on the future of the labour market. It is not accidentally organised under the patronage of the Polish Presidency, just after the informal gathering of European employment Ministers within the EPSCO Council, who will besides participate in the EFNI. The organiser of the event – the Confederation of Leviathan – in cooperation with the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy, focuses on a substantive and multidimensional view of the main challenges facing the labour market.

During the spring edition of the Forum there will be no shortage of references to the Sopot edition of the event: the celebrated and liked Night Marks talks will replace the beginning day of the events discussions of the Morning Birds. The guests of these unique meetings will be Ewa Łabno-Fałęcka, Karol Jałochowski and Władysław Frasyniuk. Cultural accents will besides appear.

The Spring edition of EFNI is organized independently of the planned 15-17 October 2025 14th edition of the Forum – which will traditionally be held in Sopot.
