Yesterday I promised what education should be about leading to logical reasoning skills. Before I do, I'm going to remind Einstein of the mystery:
5 people of different nationalities live in 5 houses in 5 different colors. They all smoke 5 different tobacco products and drink 5 different drinks. They breed 5 different species. Which 1 keeps the fish at home?
- Norway inhabits the first house
- Englishman lives in a red house.
- The green home is located straight on the left side of the white house.
- The Dane drinks tea.
- Cigarette smoker light lives next to a cat farmer.
- A yellow-house resident smokes cigars.
- German smokes a cigarette.
- A resident of the mediate home drinks milk.
- Cigarette smoker light has a neighbour who drinks water.
- Cigarette smoker without a filter breeds birds.
- Swedes grow dogs.
- Norway lives next door to the blue house.
- A horse farmer lives next to a yellow house.
- Menthol smoker drinks beer.
- You drink coffee in a green house..
It is assumed that houses are set in 1 line (1-2-3-4-5), and the word "left-hand" in point 3 refers to the left-hand side of the home (i.e. the home with the n-number is straight on the left-hand side of the home n+1, and the home on the left-hand side of the home n is the home with the n-1 number).
I've solved this mystery a long time ago, but it took me a while.
Such problems require full concentration, silence of any emotion, and spend a considerable amount of time to solve it. Most likely there is simply a solution on the Internet, but the point is to solve specified a task.
Just as no 1 will become Lewandowski's second or Happy, reading about football online. A champion, or even a regular third-league footballer, can only be made through training.
Similarly, you can only learn to think logically by training your brain.
I remember how excited I was erstwhile my kids were learning math, solving hundreds of easy tasks. They solved them with certain patterns without much thought. It's worse now.
Chess, Go, and another games on logical thinking, are large methods of brain training. In any schools, they're in extracurriculars, but the point is that they're a average subject.
Of course, mathematics is the best subject on which you can learn to think logically, but fundamentally on all subject you can train the brains of Young People at school.
The point is that the teacher does not have a program imposed by the Ministry, but he has always figured out how best to train the brains of his Students.
